What we collect when you visit sagery.store, how we use it, and the controls you have over it. Written in plain English by a small team in Dallas, Texas.
We collect the information needed to deliver your digital purchase, answer your emails, and keep the lights on. We do not sell your data. We are not licensed medical, financial, or legal professionals — our products are informational only.
Sagery is operated by a small team based in Dallas, Texas. We are publishers of digital guides and how-to materials — we are not licensed medical, financial, legal, mental health, or other regulated professionals. This privacy policy explains, in plain language, what we collect when you visit or purchase from us and how we treat it.
Information we collect
When you visit sagery.store or purchase a digital product, we collect a limited set of information that falls into three buckets:
Information you give us directly — your name, email address, billing address, and the contents of any message you send to hello@sagery.store.
Information collected automatically — IP address, device and browser type, referring page, the pages you view on our site, and approximate location derived from IP. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Clause 03).
Information from our payment processor — we never see or store full card numbers. Our payment processor (Shopify Payments / Stripe / PayPal, depending on what you choose at checkout) sends us a confirmation token, the last four digits of the card, and the billing address.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
— deliver the digital product you purchased and resend the download link if asked;
— answer your support emails;
— send order confirmations, receipts, and (if you opted in) occasional product announcements;
— detect and prevent fraud, chargebacks, and abuse;
— understand which products and pages are working, in aggregate, so we can improve them.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your email with third-party marketers.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies:
Essential — keeping you logged in, remembering your cart, and protecting checkout from fraud. These cannot be turned off without breaking the site.
Analytics — aggregated, anonymized traffic data (typically via Shopify Analytics and, where enabled, Google Analytics) that tells us which pages get read and which products convert.
Advertising — if we are running paid campaigns, pixels from Meta, TikTok, or Google may load on certain pages to measure ad performance. You can opt out via your browser settings or the platform's privacy controls.
Third-party services we rely on
We share the minimum information needed with the following categories of vendors, each bound by their own privacy commitments:
— Shopify Inc. hosts our store, processes orders, and delivers downloads;
— our payment processors (Shopify Payments, Stripe, or PayPal) handle billing;
— our email provider sends order confirmations and (if you subscribed) newsletters;
— our analytics and ad platforms (Shopify Analytics, Google, Meta, TikTok) help us measure performance.
None of these vendors receive more than what they need to do their job for us.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
— request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
— ask us to correct or delete it;
— withdraw consent for marketing emails (every email also has a one-click unsubscribe link);
— object to certain kinds of processing.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@sagery.store from the address on file. We respond within 30 days. Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, and the European Economic Area have additional statutory rights under their local laws, which we honor.
How long we keep your information
We keep order records and the email tied to them for as long as needed to honor warranties, support requests, refunds, and our legal/tax obligations — typically seven years for billing records. Marketing emails are removed within 30 days of an unsubscribe request. Analytics data is retained in aggregate form without personal identifiers.
How we protect your information
Our store runs on Shopify's PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant infrastructure. All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Payment data is tokenized and never touches our servers. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee that a determined attacker will never breach our vendors. If a breach affects your data, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
Children
Sagery is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email us at hello@sagery.store and we will delete it.
International visitors
We operate from the United States. If you visit us from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using our site, you consent to that transfer.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of the page and, for material changes, post a notice on the homepage. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
